Frequently asked questions

How do I become a mentor?

Visit the Mentee Registration page and select the “Become a Mentor” option, or contact support if your account doesn’t yet have the mentor capability. An administrator will grant it after a brief review.

How are mentees matched with mentors?

Mentees pick areas of interest during registration. The system surfaces recommended mentors whose expertise overlaps with those interests, but you’re always free to browse the full gallery and pick any mentor with open availability.

How many sessions can I book?

Limits are set by the program administrator. By default, mentees can book up to three active sessions, and only one active booking per mentor. You can always book again after a session is completed.

What happens after a session is confirmed?

You’ll receive a confirmation email with a calendar invite (.ics) and the video meeting link the mentor has set. Add it to your calendar and you’re set.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes. From your portal, open the session and cancel — the slot returns to the mentor’s availability immediately. We ask that you avoid last-minute cancellations as a courtesy to mentors.

Is there a cost?

No. The program is provided as a benefit by the organization. Mentors volunteer their time.

How do I leave feedback about my mentor or the program?

After a session is marked complete, you’ll be prompted for a private 1–5 reflection and an optional note. For program-wide feedback, use the support form below.
